Once upon a time in Rome there were two parents, Andrea and Claudia, a close-knit and loving couple. They lived in a cozy apartment on Via Boezio, a quiet neighborhood well in the city center. After a few years of marriage, Claudia gave birth to their first daughter, Sara. The joy was indescribable, and soon the house was filled with laughter and children’s games. Four more daughters arrived: Giulia, Marta, Irene and Maria Vittoria. The house on Via Boezio, which once seemed so spacious, was starting to become cramped for the growing family. With five energetic girls, Andrea and Claudia moved to a larger house.
They went to a spacious house in a leafy neighborhood on the outskirts of Rome, built by Claudia’s father especially for their family. They moved there, but not wanting to part with their beloved house on Via Boezio, they had an idea: to transform the apartment into a vacation home. With the increasing influx of tourists to Rome they thought it could be a good investment.
The idea was a success. The apartment on Via Boezio attracted tourists from all over the world who wanted to stay in an authentic corner of Rome. Given the success of their first vacation home, they decided to take the plunge and found a company to manage the business. Thus was born “Rome Holidays”, a small family business dedicated to offering visitors to Rome a unique and comfortable experience.
As time went by, the family grew even more: two more daughters, Ilaria and Flavia, joined the team. As the girls grew, Rome Holidays continued to expand. Andrea and Claudia began looking for other homes to buy and turn into vacation rentals. They always found new opportunities by recovering little gems hidden in the various neighborhoods of Rome.
In the meantime, the daughters began to take an interest in their parents’ work. Sara, the eldest, took over the management of reservations and communications with customers, followed by Giulia in the accounting and administration sector, Marta with social media and advertising, Irene with check-ins and finally, over time, even the youngest began to contribute by giving a hand to their older sisters. Along with the seven sisters, an important resource was added: Marialuisa, also known as “the favorite aunt”. Indispensable for Rome Holidays, she takes care of everything: from check-ins to apartment maintenance, but above all she makes the work for the sisters even more enjoyable.
Rome Holidays has thus become a true family business, with the common project of welcoming visitors to Rome into their homes and making each of them feel the beauty of this city.
