Before anything else, you need to know that the ticket is always free for:
all citizens under 18 years of age
Disabled people and their family member or companion belonging to social and health care services.
If you don’t fall into these categories, don’t worry because I will tell you how to enter the Colosseum for free!
The Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine will be free for everyone every first Sunday of the month and on 25 April, 2 June and 4 November 2023.
Free tickets can be collected on site, at the ticket offices inside the Colosseum or at the ticket offices in Piazza del Colosseo (near the Arch of Constantine) and on Via dei Fori Imperiali. Groups with a prevalence of free tickets must book the free hourly ticket on this website.
