Every Sunday, if the Pope is in Rome, he appears from the window of the papal apartment at 12 in the morning and the Angelus is celebrated, a short homily which ends with a general blessing. The event lasts about 20 minutes and does not require a ticket.
In this Sunday ceremony, the Pope looks out of the window of his room in the Apostolic Palace (to the right of the facade of St. Peter’s Basilica) to greet the faithful gathered in the square. The advice is to equip yourself with binoculars or a camera with a good lens to see it clearly from a distance. In any case, there are large screens on the side of the Square from which you can watch the prayer live.
