If you have always dreamed of visiting the imposing Flavian Amphitheater (also known as the Colosseum), keep reading!
To enter you must have a valid ticket. There are two ways to get tickets: online or on site but having to queue which can last up to an hour, which is why we advise you to buy them in advance, so you can enter quickly. The official website on which it is possible to purchase tickets online for the visit to the Colosseum, also including a visit to the Forum and the Palatine, is Coopculture. Entrance alone costs 12 euros for adults; 7.50 euros, for young people aged between 18 and 25 and teachers from the European Union; it is free for children and young people under 18 years of age and on the first Sunday of the month. The ticket is valid for 2 days and also entitles you to visit the Palatine and the Roman Forum. To obtain the discounts you must show an identity document.
Please note that the standard ticket does not cover access to all levels of the Colosseum, but only to the standing area. The standard entrance ticket allows access to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine.
