How to book tickets for the audience with the Pope?
For any information you can contact the Prefecture of the Papal Household on +39 06.69883114 (Mon-Fri 08.30-13.30). The message must indicate the date of the general audience, the number of tickets requested, the name of the persons (or group), e-mail, postal address, telephone and fax.
Audience tickets are totally free and can be collected at the Prefecture of the Papal Household, in Vatican City, from the Tuesday before the chosen audience, from 3pm to 7pm, or on the morning of the audience itself from 7.30am.
If you want to have a private meeting however, due to your busy schedule, this is often complicated but not impossible. You need to write a letter to the Vatican requesting a private audience with the Pope and expressing the reasons why you would like to have a personal meeting with him.
