Everyone knows that San Pietro is among the most beautiful churches in the world, and it is no coincidence that it is certainly the most famous and important of all! You have to see it at least once in your life because it won’t leave you disappointed at all
St. Peter’s Basilica can be visited every day, except on religious holidays, from 9:00 to 17:00. The months from November to March are the best time to visit St. Peter’s Basilica.
Access to the basilica is on Piazza San Pietro, on the northern side. To enter you will have to cross the famous colonnade of Piazza San Pietro (one of the best squares in Rome) and, after passing through checks, get in the queue. It can take up to 2-3 hours to enter St. Peter’s Basilica at peak times. To avoid queuing, you can buy tickets with a guided tour of the Basilica and you will be able to enter in less time! Also remember that to enter you must respect a dress code which requires shoulders and knees to be covered
